Ermenegildo Zegna’s The Dubai Mall Boutique brings 100 years of bespoke Italian style to the Middle East

Opened in 2009, Ermenegildo Zegna’s The Dubai Mall boutique was designed by Peter Marino, store architect to Chanel and Louis Vuitton, and reflects the brand’s urban sophistication. The vast 437sq m retail space is awash with neutrals and accented with gleaming marble and chrome, mimicking Zegna’s Tokyo, Milan and New York boutiques.

Established in 1910 in the small Italian province of Trivero, the family-owned label is renowned for creating new generations of suit fabrics, some of which include the Cashco, a super soft cotton-cashmere blend, and the Traveller, a breathable anti-crease fabric designed for the businessman on the go.

Zegna’s presence on the red carpet is undeniable. Celebrities such as Alec Baldwin and Adrien Brody have been spotted at the Oscars looking dapper in custom-made Zegna suits. For men who want to look equally sharp, Zegna offers made-to-measure service Su Misura, allowing customers to choose from three styles before their measurements are sent to Italy for tailoring. Those unwilling to wait the requisite four weeks can choose from Zegna’s ready-to-wear lines: Couture, Upper Casual and Zegna Sport. Now in its 100th year, Zegna proves some things simply get better with age.
